Signal lantern

I have here, what i believe to be a WW1 Signal lantern passed to me by some old fellow a while ago. Never thought about it untill i went through all my stuff.









It is in MINT condition and wondering if it is true to what i say it is and the value at all ?

Some time ago (a few months) I saw a similar to yours (but bigger and with different dosposition of lights) and it goes for some about 150 euro. Maybe that info would be helpfull for you.

But... isn't it from ww II period?

well the old fellow said he saw it in a book once and said it was a WW1 lantern , if it was ww2 wouldnt there be chicken stamps ?

Well not all tools/equipment have a "crow".

I'm not a specialist in that kind of equipment, but yours is in very good condiction so unfortunately I cannot say with sureness from which period it is. I may only guess.
