    1870 EK2 for opinions

I know this is not a Type A, a Type B, or a ninth-bead fake. Is it another fake, or an accepted WWI replacement cross? It certainly is ugly. Any thoughts?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards,
    Streptile

We've seen these fakes before. Look at the sweatband of the crown.
I have this style listed in my fakes database as the "bad crown fake"

        Here is another example.---

Thank you, Greg. The photo of this cross with a fake WHS and sans-serif okaleaf attachment kills it for me...

A fake in my opinion, and Niemann thinks the same. He once had one of these as "fake of the week"

              Thanks Sascha

It looks almost like the first attempt of the 9th Bead fakers, doesn't it? Also found with the same fake accessories as the 9th Beads. Then they learned from their mistakes and made the 9th Bead... now I fear they've learned from those mistakes and made very convincing Type As, like this "KO" marked one that keeps me awake at night:

              Remember that one?
