WWI U-Boot Badge - Lieferent Marked for Juncker

Guys, I wanted to show what is IMHO a very nice Lieferent period-made Juncker Kaiserliche Marine U-Boot Abzeichen (solid - Brass I believe)...I've always thought it was probably a replacement piece for a WWI submariner... I have had it in my collection for quite some time and would welcome discussion here. The Lieferent Nr, the reverse hardware and the quality of the piece all seem correct to me but as always I could be wrong...Your input and commenst are appreciated as ever!

              Well, I'll start.

              Imo this is a repro.

Hardware is imo not pre-45 (hinge and catch plates on tombak basemetal and a wierd pin).

Maker mark I'll bet does not match other 2 marked examples.

For me, it lacks any TR period characteristic Juncker hand-finishing.

              Regards
              Mike

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!
