That is a very nice and uncommon 1914 EK2.
          Best regards,

Nice bars, the first is to an NCO circa 1900, the second is a Weimar bar to a Marine Korps vet, nice with the battle clasps.

Hello Thanks to everyone for the info on the crosses and the bars. Is the 1914 EK2 a rare marker ? Here is some better photos of the Bars. Kirby

The 1914 EK2 looks like an MFH to me.

The 1914 EK1 is one of the CD800 / "Square" marked family based on the core and the hardware.

                    Regards

                      ek2 looks like FMH

the spange with the ek2,,,, I wood be careful with to be honest

the ek is with frosting ,, looks like a original 1939/1945 variation with closed 4 ( deumer,,,, but I am not sure about that )
the battle spange's seem to look aged different then the marine reward ,,,also the other medal's aged different ,,,,
and the ribbons to them have all the same new look to them ...

just my thinking if I look at it

use off different materials maybe the cause off it ,,but still

I think the EK2 is an MFH, and it even still has its paint. A beauty! I love the design of those oak leaves, with the one missing acorn. Ammersee

You beat me to it, Kay!

Turn the ring upside down and try reading it again. I think you will see "MFH". Ammersee

Hello I'll try to get a close up of the markings on the EK2. My flash seem to be messing up. I'll have to take some shot with natural light. Kirby

Would this buttonhole device be for winning the 1870 IC ? (maybe wear this to church on your coat)
