Observer Badge

Hi All

I would like to ask your opinions on this unmarked , probably private purchased observer badge. Most of the silver frosting seems to be gone, except in the lower parts. Solid back. Non magnetic.

Hmmmm, looks like a casting to me. The enameled centre has a pebbled finish to the base under the red which is normally ,but not always seen on 1930's badges. I suppose at best it could be a solid struck piece from that era but I would err on the side of cast copy.Ferg1.
