Any thoughts on below bucle. Came in but is way out of my interest to be honest.

If original offcourse, what would be an honest collector to collector value - as I probably will sell it on the e-stand.

Hi Jan,

three soldering holes would indicate M1848, later used by the Landsturm. However dimensions should be 65x50 mm.

Can you post a picture straight on from the front and the back? Is the medallion too big? It looks from the photo that it goes over the edge at the bottom.

Sorry for the delay, but I'm only able to take pictures now. Here they are.

As you are already mentionned, the medaillon indeed looks to be going slightly over the edge of the bucle.

Btw, measurements are indeed 65 x 50 mm. I was in a hurry the other day.

Hi Jan,

The only strange thing I can see is that the pearl ring on the bottom of the crown looks uneven in the center, and that the wear of the front is minimal. Rest seems to be in order. You could post a link to this thread in the belts and buckles forum.

You can also check this site http://www.das-koppelschloss.de/startseite1.htm . It lists a few points to check if its an original.
