EK2 & Preussischer Kriegerverband Medal w/ Ribbon - Never Seen Before - Came Together

I don't collect much Imperial, but did have this thrown back in the collection. I never came across this particular Vet's pin before and since it came with the EK2 wanted to keep together. How is this different than others? I am sure it's common, was given out at events?

"KO" marked EK2 and it came direct from the US Vet's family with some other odds and ends. Safety pin is on the other side of ribbon. Hope you enjoy. Thanks.

This and a small trench lighter, cigarette cards and a match safe with matches also came with as well.

Jeff, I like the tinnie, it shows the statue of Wilhelm I at the 'Deutsches Eck' in Koblenz, which was destroyed by the French after the war.

Your are right, the Prussia veteran badge is very common.

The other item is from the NSKOV (Nationalsozialistische Kriegsopferversorgung).

A nice find for you from the vet's family, congrats!

The "KO" hallmarked EK2 is one of the most common of maker marks to find, in my experience.

The tinnie is very neat, something not normally seen.

It's always fun to find these little groupings from WW2 vets. Congratulations!

This too came from the same Vet and I assume the same older German. Match safe with matches from Sweden of all places. Cigarette cards that DRP marked and a trench lighter.
