Ribbon bar - opinions please

Hi Carl,

I notice this is your 2nd thread inquireing about opinions, so I'll give it a go.
The oakleaf cluster is similar to the one posted in Messing's book, but I don't know if that's a correct reference. I've seen this cluster for minis in an exact similar design as the full sized. The sewing on the back looks sloppy, but what bugs me is the possibility for this combination i.e. KVK between EK and Hohenz., a 40 year military carreer serving on the Eastern front (Ostvolk ribbon bar #4), and Luftschutz (#9). This guy must have been placed in the celler, copying the phonebook by hand.

Very odd combination of awards, and something about those Luft eagles just does not look right. I've never seen a Luft bar with 40 years LSC.

As this is my first ribbon bar i dont really have any ides about the combinations.
I just hoped for a good one but its no bid deal if its bad.

Stunning bar, no doubts about authenticy... and I think I've never seen the WL-DA for 40 years by now!

I cannot tell you whose it is and wish he had one more WW1 award to track him down, but you might try to PM Daniel Krause. He might be able to help you...
