Just seeing if others do Kay. Makes the whole bar suspect imo. He has another bar (1914 era) with the same construction technique.

Just an honest question: wouldn't you expect to see the non-com KDM on a bar with the non-com EK2? I know the award criteria were somewhat complicated for these 1870 KDMs, so I'm truly not sure... in any case the bar is bad, in my opinion, as the EK2 is a "Latvian" fake (which I think come from the US).

Don, I wouldn't touch this one, ribbons look too "fresh", combination is unlikely at best, and I also don't like the looks of that EK.

The ribbons are no good as the EK is. The other awards might be right. Still nothing to buy, I guess - unless it were VERY cheap.

Is this not the guy who was making and selling fake ribbon bars? He did list as such.

I'm thinking it is but cannot make a solid connection. If so, he has graduated into high end fakery.
