          Huh!

It seems that Godet has lowered their quality lately ...
If someone get this and thinks he got real thing... it is perhaps time to go back home to have a little extra studies...or wehrmacht-awards.com forum!

I still need EK1's L/14 Screwback and Pinback.

I think they are still being awarded to some of the very old vets so Godet is still pumping them out .

Great head's up, Tony. We can talk about these fakes among ourselves all day, but here's a link to complain to eBay about counterfeit items. Here is their stated position:

"Sellers may not disclaim knowledge of, or responsibility for, the authenticity or legality of the items offered in their listings.
Sellers should take steps to satisfy themselves that their items are authentic before listing them on eBay. If you cannot verify the authenticity of an item, do not list it."

If you are an eBay member, send in a complaint about any fakes you see, especially where it looks like the seller is intentionally selling copies of the same badges over and over. It's going to take complaints to force eBay to help clean up their venue and reputation. Plus, it'll make it harder for the manufacturers and distributors of marked reproductions. Here's the link. All you need to do is enter the item numbers and send 'em in:
                          http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/counterfeit.html

I can't believe Godet is pumping out this garbage. Thsi one looks like it came from Pakistan by way of Cave Creek AZ. Any 1870 vets alive today would have to be over 150 years old.
