I have been trying to get this for a few years from a friend and finally traded for it a month ago. Approx. 20 X 14 inches. I just had him deliever it today. Thought you would all like to see it. Sorry about the bad photos.

General of the artillery (retired) = a. D. = ausser Dienst and President (of the Warriors

Welfare Association) not of the German State!

It is not the signature of von Hindenburg!

I can't believe I did not remember what a. D. meant.
Do you know or could you find out who was the President of the Kreiger assoc. was in 1927?
I knew it did not look like any of the signatures of Hindenberg that I had seen. I was hoping it was his initials.

By the way, this guy's name is von Hindenburg, not von Hindenberg. And he was never ever "General der Artillerie", so it cannot be his signature.
