        Hi
Just to add to this thread.
In the mid 1990s I became the 3rd owner of a cased PLM with a crown attachment with ribbon and neck ties
The original purchaser was a retired ww1 Australian naval commander who purchased it from a German auction house in 1930.
Upon his death, it was gifted to a long time friend who was a younger collector, He traded it for a Colt Dragoon pistol in 1996 and I became the new owner.

The PLM had 3 markings on the edge of the pie suspender, The 3 markings were all incuse relief stamped.
1st marking was CFR in a square,
        2nd marking was 800 in a square
3rd marking was a dogs head in a circle. This is a Austrian proof mark used from the 1880's until 1922 as told to me by an Australian customs appraisal officer.

I have attached the only pics I told of it with a camera at the time of it when i owned it, unfortunately as a younger collector did not photograph the stamping. My apologies as Steve mentioned in previous post about not seeing any with markings.
        Cheers
        Wayne
