I'm not sure when it was made (and for what it was used). Could be made for a DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) visor cap!?

Maybe post war made after 1945. It looks a little bit like the oak leaf cap band of a civil Prinz Heinrich Muetze.

If it was made for the export, it is not unusual to find "Made in Germany".
