Schwarzer Adler Orden?

Hello,

I found this medal yesterday, it´s my owen ground dug , but I have only a few informations about it. The style is like the " schwarzer Adler Orden ", 40mm X 40mm and the weight 16g. Have anybody informations for me?

Yes, your information is correct in that it could represent a star to the Order of the Black Eagle.

However, beyond that, this same insignia (often referred to as a Garde Star) was used extensively
to recognize Garde units. As such, it can be found on helmets, cartridge pouches, sword handles,
even saddle blankets.

IMO, the veteran depolutte it in the last days of the second world war.
Have you informations about the material. It´s silver or tombak?
