    new toy-zpix MM-640 zoom digital microscope/closeup pics

    new toy-zpix MM-640 zoom digital microscope/closeup pics.

just got this new camera/microscope with 26x-130x zoom power.
this baby is awesome for getting detail photos from photos and postcards. these are some of the details i captured with them just in the last hour ive had this new toy.
have not tried medals yet maybe on the week end ill try some iron cross shots.

but so far i love this little toy.
got it on ebay for $60
hooks right up to the usb port so it uses the power from the computer, and there are 4 little lights on the inside that light up the item pretty nice.
anyway enogh blabbering. here are some of the example photos i took. enjoy

              joeimwalle,

              This is quite amazing.

Could you possibly demonstrate what it can do with actual medals?

              Thank you for sharing this.

              Best wishes,

              Wild Card

Hi Joe, been wanting one of those for quite some time, but missed a similar one on Ebay. Keep the pics coming, would be nice to see some of a makers mark of some kind. Is it easy to install and use?

I use Picasa for downsizing ordinary pics, a Google freeware. The "export" function is very handy, you can set the pic to 1200 and still not loose a lot of quality.

                        hi carl,
very easy to plug in and use, love this little toy..
thxs for the tip on the photo downsizer. ill look into it on the weekend, anyway i tried to downsize the pics again with my hp photo thing, still not good enough size wise. so ill try your sugesstion this weekend,.
got the makers marks on some of my iron cross 2nd class rings, will get those posted right now. 2x 800 marked 1x kag 1x fr, and some more photo album pics really close up shots. the tries i did on the medal cores and frames did not work as the edges and darkness was to much so i would say the best this thing will do is for the makers marks on the rings..

but for real awesome results it works great with photos and postcard photos, to see the tiny details you may miss. works well with ww2 photos also...

so here is a new instalment of pics i did today
                        enjoy

                          size

sorry for the small size again im still trying to figure out how to downsize the pics from 285kb to fit with the websites only limit of 97.5 kb
let me tell you the tiny pics do not do the details justice, the pic should cover the whole screen not the tiny little one you see...
