        Including Baden awards that were not awarded post 1870/71... ? Rather not.

        Nice 1870/71 buttonaire, apparently dating at least pre 1897 (Prussian jubilee medal missing). No way to tell if it's an officer's and no way to say what Baden long service award.

        Order of Zähringer Lion indicates an officer - and an officers' long service cross - but we cannot exclude this was to an former EM/NCO who got a Zähringer for his post-military civil job.

        Anyway, nice early one.

                Hmm, I think it's rather a Baden long service award, however I know the ribbons are very close. Don't you have a similar medal bar - with Baden XXV?
