Prussian Pilot Badge?

Hello folks,

If anyone has a minute or two to give any opinion on this badge, I'd be very grateful. Is it a real one or a copy/fake?

From the hardware ,pin and catch setup, it looks like a piece made in the 1950's for veterans etc.. Having said that, it is struck from the same die as known period pieces.( I have one but in 925 silver and two piece construction) So I assume that the same die tooling was re-used years later.Maker unknown but possibly Steinhauer und Luck.
