    Imperial medal identification

Hey guys , what is this thing I rescued from a ziplock baggie full of coins and medals today at the show, has the profile of several subjects on front and several symbols on the back, remnants of a bronze wash, feels like a WWII zinc metal but dates are 1914-1916 Help!

An unofficial patriotic item, but an unusual one. I like it.

Hey Steve, I am with Vince on this one...These and items were produced as propaganda to cement unity within the populace(s) of the Central Powers Empires Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and Ottoman during WWI. I have a similar piece that has only the German and Austro-Hungarian Kaisers on it. This one has the profiles of all early war Emperors (the so-called Imperators Rex).

Although it is made in the fashion of a medal it is actually not an award. Really nice find mate, Stephen
                Cheers, Steve
