Strange KO at Ebay?

Hi All,

this KO is at ebay. It looks like a ww2 produced cross. Is it a known fake? Or did someone used a Steinhauer & Lück (?) core and stamped KO in the back?

Hi Michel,

Strange beast. From the front it looks like maybe TR or 57er (the stated 44x44mm size made me think that way). The core is imo definitely not KO. The reverse looks new made. Imo either a Frankenstein genuine EK2 to fake EK1 or an out-and out-fake. Either way, this one does not tempt me at all.

"KO" made many variations, but this is none of them. The averse reminds to late St.u.L. crosses but is not full match. This type is a 100% fake, from what I've heard.

Thanks. I wasn't buying, just wanted to check if KO existed outside ww1.

I think there are 4 types ek1 crowns;
Accepted 3 are seen in the EK1 database, and the other one is here:

Is the probable "other" one accepted as real?
