my Iron Cross I. classes 1914

I post my 1914 series from left - on right: Schinkel silver with miniature backplate, Gebruder Godet-Berlin, unmarked Iron Cross, unmarked Iron Cross with giant backplate.

What do you think, who were the markers for my three unmarked crosses?

You have a nice collection of 1914 EK1s.

Your "SILBER" example is possibly missing a large round backplate - the maker of these is unknown as far as I know.

In Post#1 & #2, the two crosses on the right both appear to be 1940s examples by Deumer.

In Post#1 & #2, the two crosses on the right both appear to be 1940s examples by Deumer.

The cross with "SILBER" mark is supposed to be made by C.F. Zimmermann in Pforzheim, but one is not yet sure. A certain proof is still missing.

But, what does it make a "Schinkel"? Actually, this term is used only on WW2 crosses...

This cross with SILBER mark is very little: 42mm x 42mm, so I think, that Schinkel form. Is it not true ?

No, not when talking about Imperial EKs.

The term "Schinkle" you are quoting is used by collectors in reference to "undersized" (less than the specified 44mm) 1939 EK1s/2s. To use it for Imperial EKs in this way does not make sense, as all pre-39 Imperial designs (with few exceptions like AWS) were <44 mm and generally in the 42-43mm range anyway.
