          It's a Typical 1930's produced piece, the hinge and pin give it away. A very nice piece.

            I keep writing it but I'll write it again...

            ...this hardware was used from at least 1919 (if not a bit earlier) to at least 1941 (if not a bit later).

            The size (height/width) of the cross would probably be more indicative of period, as anywhere from 20s to early 40s would be possible for this example based solely on the hardware.

            Rick, it's a nice example which appears to have plated tombak frames and maybe even a tombak core?
