General Von Koschembahr

Hi everyone,

I'm actually looking for more information about the GeneralMajor Stanislaus Von Koschembahr (1859-1914).
He was commanding the 84. Infantery Brigade when he was killed in Mulhouse (Alsace, France) on 9 August 1914, and i don't know more about him.

So if you have more information about this man, please tell me.

The 1914 Rangliste doesn't tell much. He's shown as a Major General commanding the 84 Infantry Brigade. He didn't appear to have a lot of decorations, there are only 3 listed: Red Eagle Order 3rd Class with Bow, Crown Order 2nd Class, and the 25 year service cross.

The mentioned decorations are pure peace time awards, so earned in NO conflict. Killed in action within the first week of the great war I'm pretty sure he did not receive any war time decoration - not even an EK2.

I thought too that he was a bit younger for the 1870's conflict.

If someone know whats happening to this man in Mulhouse after 5 war's days.
