I am familiar with many abbreviations used during WW II but not so with WW I.
Could anyone assist with any in the image below?
This particular individual was an Officer with Korps Nachrichten amd Feld Kommandanteur units WW II, however was he signals WW I also?
His replacement units appear to be in München and Nürnberg.
K.E.A. I. - Kampffahrer Ersatz Abteilung I?
F.E.A. - Funksprech Ersatz Abteilung?
The signature is that of Generalmajor (later Generalleutnant) Alois Josef Ritter von Molo, at the time Kommandeur Wehrbezirks Stuttgart II. During WW I with Grenadier Regiment 119.
Thanks!
Ian
