    Help Identifying Imperial Award Doc

I picked up these two documents, presumably awarded to the same man. One is a 1934 doc for a Hindenburg Cross with Swords while the other is a 1918 doc for some kind of Service Cross, Third Class. Would appreciate any opinions on what this second doc is for.

It's the Bavarian Long service medal-3rd class. the Bavarians continued to award these through the war. the prussians did not.
