    ID disc, or...? Plz help

    Hi guys

    Is the a German WWI id disc or just crap?

    If it´s a id disc are they rare?

    Hope to get some quick help and opinions

      I can just say that you will find 166 entries "Heinsohn" in the recent phone book in the Glückstadt area.

        ID Disk

        The tag that you have pictured is from the early WW1 period and IMHO is original. This type is not rare but is a little unusual because of the engraved personal information of the original owner and the stamped unit designation. It is usually one way or the other but I have seen others done the same way as yours.

          hello,
          nice tag and from a good regiment. 77 was wearing the "tag" waterloo between the wings of the eagle on the spike helmet. Only 5 regiments were having this. See mine helmet from 77 ;-)
