    Double-Screwback non-magnetic EK1

A few threads back I mentioned I picked up a beautiful double-screwback EK1 from Detlev. It is one-piece, possibly silvered brass (?) bronze (?) as a slight brass color is coming through on the beading (although it may just be my imagination) and it is of course, not magnetic. Standard size 43mm. Exceptional quality, superb detail in the crown and date on the obverse.

The reverse, with twin round nuts, (just like Kaiser!)

Look ma! No soldering! It's one piece. And only 2mm thick including the beading!

My theory from the numbers is that this is a VERY early piece, truly a '14.

Well in THAT case if it doesn't match a maker mark found on the Kaiser's Maker Mark Cheat Sheet, send it back!
