Some cased ek2s and strange wb

    Hi

I always like picking up the variations of imperial cased ek2s, the fold out one with snap button is neat.

On the wb, has anyone ever seen one like this? it appears to have a ccc-like third reich catch.

    Thanks
    Dion

I think the pin on the WB may be a replacement pin. Look how it does not line up with the barrels it fits into at the hinge.

Can we see better pics of the hinge. The pin reminds of those seen on badges by H.C. Timm.

Looks like the same pin and a modified hinge as the Prussian award posted here. Also found on 1920-30s EK1s btw.

I saw it alright. I'll trade your balloon badge for a piece of the True Cross I happen to have out back in the yard.

                          Hi,

just one question, I always thought that wound badges were stamped = hollow? Are there more examples of "massive" wound badges?

                          Kind regards,
                          Michel

Yeah, good point. I never noticed that in my haste.
