Altona today is part of Hamburg.

In the year 1639 in Altona was founded the "Altonaer Schützencompagie" which is existing still today but changed the name. Today the name is "Altonaer Schützemgilde".

The correct name ist "Altonaer Schützengilde", sorry.

They came from the "Verein der Kolonialwarenhändler von 1872 zu Altona e.(ingetragener) V.(erein).

This was an association of the Altona sellers of colonial goods.
