    Nice, original....

... 3X Frack Bar for civilian wear. Correct order and in nice condition. $400 plus shipping is IMO a very nice price for one of these.

          I'll answer that one!

Well, I think an RK mit Schwertern is $350-400 for a second class and easily $600-800 for the first class. Much more with oakleaves. This is by far one of the more interesting Imperial Orders to me and it surprises me that prices are so low for it. Right now there is a gorgeous second class with swords in our own eStand (Imperial) for $350 inc. ship/insure. A bargain, IMO. And no, I'm not the seller!

            Hi Christian,
            i
think, for a 2nd-class cross is 350-400 Euro a good price. Nimmergut lists it with 300 Euro.

Here on the estand is a nice one from Matt Johnson. He wants 350 for it. If i would search one, i would buy this one.
            Ups, its SOLD.

            best wishes,
            Gerd

PS: Once again was one of the Rickys faster.

              thanks much for the explanation.
and yes, its indeed a nice example - i only held once one in my hands - it was attached one a very long medal bar and the left hand glass stone was removed, that the medal before fits better.

I must say this order is one of the most beautiful imperial awards, ever.
What were they awarded for and to who?

                Thanks in advance

Unfortunatly, it wasn't bought by anyone on the forum, I sold it at a show this past weekend. I had it listed on the estand for two weeks and was amazed that no one was interested. With 6317 awards, it is a much scarcer award than the WWII Knight's Cross and only worth a minute fraction of the value of an RK. But, the Baden award will always win the aesthetic award hands down.

                  Matt

Yes, Matt, i was also a bit surprised, but thought, that it finally bought someone here. I think, this was an exception, for what reasons ever, but it was NOT your piece. That was beautyful! Please try it nevertheless next time.
                      best wishes,
                      Gerd

You wouldn't happen to have anymore lying about would you?

I had been looking at it, but as I don't have enough money at the moment, I didn't say anything
