          These are magnificent bars Noor!

It's (almost) too much having them displayed together like this.

Under "More Hamburg" you say you like #4. Remind me again what ribbon #2 is?

I like #3, however odd ranking with the Lippe Cross (combantant) in front of the Lippe House Order w/S. Does anyone know why they would do this?

Congrats on a great collection of bars....and these are only the ones with Hanseatic awards?

Wow, just great Timo. Dr. Gerhard Sayffaerth's is the most stunning group I can imagine. And all over this display, nothing from Baden... very good...

It's not the house order but the military merit medal. The house order would have gold wreath instead of yellow - and of course would outrank the Lippe cross.

                      Hi Noor,

                      very nice collection!

I have a question regarding one of your Bremen bars (No 6). The normal ribbon configuration for Bremen is four vertical red stripes, but this one only features three!? Is this a valid variation, or does it actually indicate a different award altogether?

                      What are your thoughts?

Again - congrats on a very nice collection of Imperial ribbon bars.

                      Regards
                      Thorsten

                        Hi Thorsten,

I am pretty sure its the regular Bremen Hansa Cross. Sometimes ribbons varied because the different makers. Also there wasn't always in place famous "german punctuality" and they used as well "close enagh" ribbons (especially for some foreign awards)
