    Mystery enamel war badge

Good day all, I picked up this enamel badge last evening locally along with a bunch of other medals and pins etc. I bought it from the son of the owner(his dad has passed), his father wasn't a collector per say, just liked to pick up military pins and mount them onto a cardstock backing. I don't know where he got it or what country or time period it is, although it looks imperial era to me, hopefully someone here can chime in. The medal must have had a center post or other attachment means that was replaced with a pin and C catch. I can't see any maker marks. Thanks for any help.

Idontknow. Like all of us German collectors I'm familiar with a lot of different awards from many different states, but this is not recognizable.

I don't think it imperial german at all. For a brest badge it is too crude. The cipher is a Roman serif "L" with three stars.

I think it’s some other country altogether and from the late 20th century. Just a guess.

I would try the International forum...

I'll post it on the international forum and see what gives.

I also think not Imperial. It seems to be quite well made so I don't think it's a fantasy piece, possibly some legit membership badge.

Let's us know if you find out anything. Even if it's not imperial, we all like the answer to mysteries.

I posted it on the international forum, nothing yet. It really looks nice, not a cheap POS, to bad it has some enamel damage. I'll keep you posted and thanks for your help.
