    Sea Batln Stuff

    Wie gehts:

There haven't been a lot of threads on seabattalion stuff. I hope you enjoy my few items.
Here is a m-1910 waffenrock and tschako for a seabatln leutnant around 1915.

    Sea Batln

Here is a close-up of the collar, cuff and shoulder boards. Hopefully can can be able to determine that the buttons have a reichs crown vs the prussian crown on the buttons.

        Interesting...

...I've never seen Litzen and collar tabs like that before, they almost look "subdued"

This is actually the first and only "Sea Camo", with the grey litzen being worn when it is foggy out so the sailor blends in...

I looooooove this tunic, very nice.

Thanks for your response and kind words. Here is the sea batln portion of an overall imperial navy display that a friend and I put together for the SOS in Louisville earlier this year. We were awarded first place.

This picture shows an nco wearing a prewar waffenrock and tschako and my leutnant wearing a M-1910 waffenrock and feldmutz.

Did the NCO sit on his bayonet?

Yet again very nice and love the condition!

What amazing things.I have a copy of an old book that has drawings and crude paintings of these uniforms and now that I've seen your "real thing" I think the book will have to go to the back of the shelf.Fantastic uniforms ! What does the belt buckle look like ? could you post a close up,please? Thank you for showing your stuff.
