Now I want to share a nice photo of mining workers (Bergbau) with You, which I got yesterday on a fl... (oh, no, don't tell us Robert). Sorry.

I made two detail scans, of men and women:





I am far off being familiar with mining uniforms, but I didn't know that women also had their uniforms. Well, some of the hats look a bit "home-spun", but what an effort !

This is a great photo.I do wonder about their "trades",though.Eyeglasses & clean hands and women all duded up makes me wonder if they aren't the brains and engineers behind behind the operations.Miners were poorer than dirt back then.
