      Could be a commemorative piece from 1879 but the quality is horrible. You can see the casting seam.

        But it's cool. Stettin I think was near Berlin so a parade there completely believable. Not an award, a token, I believe did existg. I can't see the casting but wouldn't casting make more sense for a token for a parade than a die stamped piece? Don't know. Find it to be very interesting piece.

          This is a token “In memory of, or commemorating, the Kaiser Parade in Stettin on 12 September 1879. Stettin is about 80 miles northeast of Berlin, which puts it in present day Poland, where it is known as Szczecin.

            As Don says, a fake/copy, these are always on sale on German ebay, all from the same mould or cast as you see the same flaws on each one. They are even worse in the hand. I fell for one about three years ago!
