I picked this up off the Estand recently. It is said to be a photo of Hindenburg's funeral. It's a private photo in postcard format. The seller made a good case for it but I'd be interested in what others have to say to compare thoughts. I will add another photo the seller sent me that is pretty good proof. It shows the same two soldiers in my photo standing next to a bed where Hindenburg is laying after his death. I do not own the second photo, just the first.

Since he was the only guy awarded the Hindenburgstern which is attached to the medalbar pillow I would say it is him.pseudo-expertComment

My grandfather was at the funeral at Tannenberg in 1934, and I have his originals from the service.
