Hey Dave, some very nice hats. I started getting started on Imperial caps this past summer and then changed directions again. Still I'm happy with the couple I picked up.

        Hey Tony
Good to hear from you again. I went on your website and was very impressed with both the content AND the presentation. Well done. It seems we are definately in the minority on this forum for collecting cloth and headgear! About the Wurtemberg feldmutz, the lining appears to be papercloth. Although the cap is constructed of such shoddy erzatz materials, its interesting that a cavalry cap would be produced that late in the war.

          Hey Peter

Nice caps! What is the state cockade on the your feldgrau cap; I can't tell from the picture.

Likewise Dave, nice to touch base again. I figured that your Württemberg Schirmmütze had a paper liner. Very nice. Wouldn't that look great with this Ulanka?

That one is Saxon. I had read that those were the second most common after Prussian.

Anyone have a Kürassier-Regiment von Seydlitz (Magdeburgisches) Nr. 7 visor or un-visored?

Uh huh. That would be the understatement of the year. I cannot decide which of Bob's absolutely phenomenal visor caps I like the most.............the Dragoon Regt Nr 2, Bayern Chevaulegers Regt Nr. 6, Kürassier Regt Nr. 6, Chevaulegers Regt Nr. 7, or the many others.........

                      Tony

Ok, OK, its the Dragoon Regt Nr 2.

No Wait! The Bayern Chevaulegers Regt Nr. 6.

                      Or........
