    1870 EKI WIth Oak Leaves

    Hi Guys!
Could you please tell me if this is original, I have never owned one before. Also, what is the value of this set?
    Thanks!

That is an EK2, not EK1.

The cross looks OK to me, but I don't know anything about the 25-year oakleaves. Perhaps someone with more knowledge will reply??

Need better scans. The core looks a little odd, but it could be the photo. Jon is right on the value of these.

Thanks Jon and all! I will try it there and sorry if I called it an EKI, I know it is a EKII.
              Best Wishes,
              Bob

                A nice combo Bob.

Nice original EK2, and the oaks look fine...

Ribbon? Probably good - certainly looks to have natural age and weave, but dosen't look particularly well mounted onto the back plate. I doubt many here can tell original 1870-90 ribbon from well aged 1914 ribbon - I certainly can't - so who really knows.

                Congratulations.
