members i just returned from an estate sale and found these items ...i'm not a collector of this type of headgear so, i thought i'd ask the experts on the forum...any help would be apprecaited before it's off to estand.....

While helmets are not my particular area of interest, I think that I can confidently say that your helmet is not Imperial German. Over the years a surprising number of countries (even Great Britain and the USA) adapted the spiked style helmet. I am inclined to think that yours might be Scandinavian; but there are many possibilities.
Hopefully someone who knows the answer will see this and let us know.
