I collect Native American stone tools...arrowheads, spearpoints, and etc. During the Great Depression a family in Kentucky named "Guffy" cranked out a huge amount of fake artifacts...mostly rare ceremonial types. Material was all wrong, shape wrong, drilling wrong, etc. They fooled a lot of city folks back then, but now, they've become high-dollar collectors items in their own right. What was once just a fake is now called "an original Guffy". Unfortunately for most of us, it will probably take 50 yrs for the fake Austrian badges to be worth anything. Ammersee
