Kriegsmarine 1914-1916 Pin Help Please

Guys, I got this pin several years ago and was recently told it was fairly rare. Can anyone give me any insight into what exactly it is, and if indeed it is rare.
Also what kind of value might this hold. Thanks!!

Please include a photo of the backside as well. (I suspect it's a vertical, safety-pin-like device.)

I don't recognize it. Obviously it's Austrian and likely unofficial. For their capital ships perhaps. An unofficial commemorative pin of their navy from 1914-16.

There are collectors for this sort of thing. $80-$300 (sorry about the range, but it does depend on what it is exactly and how many are out there.)
