Here's one style I have never seen before. It is very lightweight (ostensibly "parade type") and my gut tells me it's from the 30's. Frame is silver and core is brass. Take a look at the hinge, pin (flat), and clasp attachments. It's a nice piece, but has no hallmarks to offer any clues. Too bad the previous owner took it upon himself to clean it--
