Nice zipper back but I don't think Stephen P will appreciate his pics being copied for an eBay advertisement by that eBay seller! Steve

                    Kay,

The cross looks OK from the pics. I was just referring to the fact that the vendor used one of Stephen Ps copyrighted pictures from his book 'Iron Time' to describe the cross on the 4th pic. Steve

                        Hi Kay,

I think that the seller knew exactly what he was doing given that he also copied the text.

Anyone know the identity of the seller?

                        Regards,
                        Stu

That's the first time I have heard that discription.

That's what I've always called them Greg because that is what they looked like to me. Maybe it will start a trend.

By the way, the 1813 EK that started this thread is a nice one. These things are pretty scarce. Not sure of the value but hard to find them at any rate. Steve

Question on the 1813. I am assuming the cracks in the core are from being dropped, stepped on, runover, etc. Then I have heard that cracks can be common in these. Is that like a stress flaw in the production or something like that? Or is it that many suffer from rough handling? Ron.
