OK, Bill M. has volunteered to step up to the plate regarding an article & database on the 1870 Iron Crosses. Please PM him directly so that he can collect details, photos, etc. Mr. Previtera's book is the best in-print resource available today regarding these crosses. But it would be great to set up a documented archive of examples, with a quick access on-line. Good luck to Bill and thanks in advance for anyone able to contribute to the project.

You guys with medal bars are going to be the real heros here on the 1870 EKII's. Those good bars hopefully will illustrate closely honest pieces. But we need those bars photographed now before the fakers add their wares to these.
