    strange EK2

    Hi
Would appreciate your thoughts on this one. It has obviously been blackened and then cleaned at some time as the remains can be seen. It is magnetic although I do not think this is iron but some sort of sheet metal. It only weighs 11.6 grms where I find the average cross abot 6 grms heavier.
Looks original to me but what do I know??
    regards
    andy

I try to hold my comments about these "large crown" style crosses.
I do not like these crosses and while I know that many are belived to
be perfectly good I think these are heavily faked and I will not own
              one----But that's just my opinion.

A sheet metal core. Probably a 30's era piece.

wanne stay in the midle here
at first,, i didnt know what to make out off them,,,
many judget to be good ,,(as easy that went down i found atleest to say surprising .)

but wen i found the story off blech.
                  wel ,,, it made sence...

still dont know what they are,,, fore chure ,,,

only know that some dealers heve a lot off them , selling them as original
regarding them from 1914 originals to 1939 producet ones.
dont minding the crowns ore enny other signs.
and mostley dont sel them quick,,hang on to them fore jears
detlev not selling them( thats a good sign)

they found with all sorts off marks ...
often with the sloppy two leters marks
they seen more often every jear.
i even saw a maybauer with his typikal screw and markings attached to such a cross

but still ,,who knows what dokuments come up one day ,,prooving these to be the cheap alternative fore the exspensive ones.
or fore advertising in a schop or enny other purpes .

until then ,,,theyre to ugly to buy.

                  regards kay
