      Hi All,

For 57 versions the deumer core (on Ek2) is here (it has an open 4):

      http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=277262

a probable deumer Ek1 TR era (ground dug) I did recently post here:

      http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=319801

the Steinhauer & Lück version is here:

      http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=288397

      a version of a Steinhauer & Lück ek1 57 1914 is here,
      http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...highlight=1914

the needle system on the latter is completely different then the one sold. The needle on the for sale Ek matches the L16 needle (a little, maybe some TR EK expert can confirm this as I am no expert)
      Needle L/16 (S&L) is here:
      http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/iron...ers/4/3/4_.htm
      Needle L/11 (Deumer) is here:
      http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/iron...1/1/l_11_1.htm

In my opinion it looks more like the Steinhauer & Lück core BUT
can the seller provide some straigth shots of the front for comparison?

      Regards,

      Michel

IMO an EK I by Steinhauer & Lück.
S&L used the closed 4 design and this type of clasp.

                  Regards
