imperial WWI telephone buckle question ?

I have been offered a WWI telegraph ( or telephone ? ) buckle => you know the large model, are these things highly faked ? , to what should one look and can anyone post pictures of a original one ( front and reverse ), what are current going prices for a original one ?, etc ... , pardon my stupidity on this subject but any info is highly appreciated.
