I don't like it! That's never a "Meybauer",in the best case the screw is a good one..........leave it where it is and save your money.

I have to agree with Micha - this one just not conform to a Meybauer screwback. It looks similar to an eBay fake discussed recently. The X-plate is the wrong shape, the core and frame are not Meyabuer, I don't recall seeing the "PM" stamped on the reverse of a genuine Meybauer cross and, if you look carefully, the PM on the cross and the PM on the screwdisk are DIFFERENT FONTS. Not for me.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

                      Mike, Micha,
I have NEVER liked these crosses with the large crowns. Are there
any original crosses with this ugly core?

                        Hi Greg,

I'll have to check. In the meantime, here's a comparison with the only 2 accepted genuine Meybauer core variations (top of the image) I am aware of.

                        Regards
                        Mike
