Friedrich Wilhelm Herzog zu Brauschweig fought under the British (Wellington) with his famous unit "Black Brunswickers" 1809 in Spain and Portugal (Peninsula) against Napoleon.
In memory of this event the medal was struck 1909.

These are beautifully struck medals.
They sell for about 80 Euros or so on eBay and the dealer sites, esp. in Germany.
They are very undervalued, in my opinion.Comment
