One of my friends collector is looking for original uniforms worn by the German States soldiers during the Franco-German War of 1870-1871.

Hello Richard D,

Over the years, the best source for Imperial German uniforms that I am aware of would be the Kube auctions. Of course, the 1870-71 era items tend to be comparatively rare, but they do come around from time to time.
