Funky ribbon on a 1914 EKII??

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=13965

Found this funky ribbon attached to a 1914 EKII on eBay. Anybody recognize what it is?

    Me first!

I do! I recognize it! It's well, ahem, err, ahhhhh... a funky ribbon!

Seriously, it's a generic patriotic ribbon used on many nonofficial awards.

Out of curiosity, was this during the course of the war, or during the inter-war period?

I have not seen this ribbon before. Maybe it is one of the numerous Weimar era veterans association ribbons.
But who the hell pays 75 bucks for a WW1 EK2???

          Best regards

          Daniel

Daniel, I got an even better one for you: who the hell pays $79 for a rusted EK2 without a ribbon?? And the auction is not over yet.
